Deadline Extended The possibility of late submissions (particularly for non-refereed papers and abstract only submissions) is being offered for the 5APCEI to be held in Perth from September 26-28. People interested in a delayed submission should contact Dr Roger Atkinson directly rjatkinson@bigpond.com to enquire. A selection of paper types and presentation formats will be available at 5APCEI. Delegates may choose to submit a full paper in either a non-refereed or refereed category. They then can choose to present their paper in the standard style of conference presentations (25 mins including allowance for question time) or in a discussion-centred session. Alternatively, delegates can choose to submit an abstract only for participation in a showcase session where each presenter has 10 mins to showcase and share a particular resource, intervention, project or achievement they have been involved in. Participants may, if they wish, provide a poster to supplement their showcase and allow for continued discussion with colleagues throughout the conference. Papers in the refereed category will be sent to external referees. Refereed papers can qualify as DEEWR E1 publications and will be published in a conference proceedings. Selected papers may be invited to be published in the International Journal of Educational Integrity Paper and presentation formats:Both refereed and non-refereed papers should be formatted according to the instructions listed here. If you intend to include an optional poster with your showcase presentation for display throughout the conference please check specifications below. Discussion-centred session This style of conference presentation was used successfully and appreciated by delegates at 4APCEI in Wollongong in 2009. By popular demand it is being offered again at 5APCEI. Here’s how it works:
Poster (to complement showcase presentations) If you decide to make a poster to complement your showcase presentation you should choose a size of 90 x 60 cm (A1 size). Either landscape or portrait orientation is acceptable. Delegates should bring a hardcopy of their poster with them to the conference. Posters can be conveniently produced using a Microsoft Powerpoint©.
